Financing for Major Plumbing Repairs
We Offer Easy, Competitive Financing through Acorn Finance. Our primary financing partner is a company called Acorn. We've been using them for years. They're very easy to work with. You can do a soft credit pull if you're applying for financing with us, so it's not going to ding your credit just to find out what the APR interest rate would be, what the payment terms could be.

What areas do you service?
Sewer Studs services every city and municipality within Hillsborough County, Pinellas County, and Pasco County.
Do you offer warranties / guaranties on your work?
Yes, we offer warranties or guaranties on almost every service. We even offer a 10 Year parts and labor guarantee on our Gold Package pipe lining services!
How expensive is your company compared to other companies?
Sewer Studs aims to provide a middle of the ground approach: we try our best to provide the highest quality service at a price that is fair to all parties. This generally means we are more expensive than some "Mom & Pop" plumbing companies while being more affordable than large, corporate-owned plumbing companies.
How quickly can you respond to a plumbing emergency?
The truth is it varies day by day. Some days we have a ton of calls on the board and it's difficult for us to get out to an emergency within, say, an hour or two. But other days we're available and we can service an emergency pretty quickly within an hour or two. Because we're a small family business (we're not some giant corporate-owned megalith) our ability to respond to an emergency changes day by day. What doesn't change: we work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. We don't do nights, weekends, or after-hours calls — we're a small family crew, and we'd rather be upfront about that than promise round-the-clock service we can't deliver.
What are the benefits of trenchless pipe lining compared to traditional methods?
So the benefits of trenchless pipelining versus traditional excavation repairs is, number one, it's a much less invasive repair. In almost all scenarios, we're going to be avoiding cutting concrete or digging in an area where it's not really possible to dig. Let's say you've got a giant oak tree in your front yard and it's not feasible to dig up or remove that tree in order to repair your sewer, we can do that trenchless repair without damaging the landscaping or the yard. And then obviously, if you've got a concrete slab and you've got cast iron drain lines under the slab that need to be designed, we can do that repair and you don't have to destroy your flooring, you don't have to destroy the tile or the concrete. The other thing is, you actually do save quite a bit of money because you're not spending all the tertiary costs of putting the drain system back together like putting concrete back, putting back flooring, maybe touching up drywall and paint that got damaged during the dig up or excavation repair process. Generally it's also a lot quicker because excavation repairs are required to be permitted in Florida. The timeline to do an excavation repair is at a minimum several days — versus lining, which can be completed in as little as a day depending on how long of a section we're talking about.
Do you offer financing options for larger plumbing projects?
Yes! Our primary financing partner is a company called Acorn. We've been using them for years. They're very easy to work with. You can do a soft credit pull if you're applying for financing with us, so it's not going to ding your credit just to find out what the APR interest rate would be, what the payment terms could be, etc. It's a really nice option if you kind of want to dip your toes in the water without getting too committed and you don't have to worry about hurting your credit.
What should I do if I suspect a leak in my home?
So this answer is going to be a little bit nuanced. And the reason is, is because the plumbing system is actually two separate systems in most homes. So you've got the potable water system, which is the system that brings water to your faucets. It's what delivers water whenever you open the cold side of your faucet and water comes out, that's the potable water system. And then you've got the drain waste and vent system, which is what takes that water away and transports it away from your house, either to your septic tank or to the municipality sewer system. And so if you have a leak in your home, the first thing we need to do to determine whether you do have a leak or not is, what are some of the signs that you're seeing? Do you see moisture? Do you have a really high water bill? And then from there, a professional plumber can come out and he can narrow down which system he thinks the leak is on. Is it on the drain system or is it on the potable water system? And then from there, we can narrow down, let's say it's on the potable water system. We can isolate the main water line from the rest of the system, say the water heater, and say, okay, we've discovered that the leak is on the cold water side or vice versa. Maybe it's on the hot side. And so if you suspect a leak, the best thing to do would be look for the signs of the leak and then call a professional plumber and have them come out and do an evaluation.
